Now in it’s fourth year, the Route 66 Field Studies Program is a unique travel, research experience offered through the Sociology Department of Central Connecticut State University. Eligible students travel Route 66 for 16 days during the Summer Session.  As we travel, students conduct and record oral histories, visit historically significant sites, and explore, first-hand, the cultural development of the American Southwest.  Travel will include: Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
