The Student Social Work Club has made a commitment to the New Britain Sesquicentennial Celebration Committee for 10 volunteers Saturday October 14, 2000 (7:30 am until 11:00 give or take ) to help set up for Cultural Heritage Day at Franklin Square. WE NEED YOU! They need you! This is a great opportunity to get involved with our local community and meet other social work majors and pre-majors!

Stanley St (to downtown) over the Harry Truman Bridge,( the street
eventually becomes Main St.) continue
past the new Court House, Franklin
Park will be on your right. We will
meet there. (On the Bus line)
· FOR THOSE WHO ARE EARLY BIRDS—MEET DR. BARATTA AT GUS’S DINER FOR BREAKFAST AT 6:45 AM. Gus’s is located past Franklin Park, on Main Street (St. Joseph’s Church is on the right—Gus’s is on the left a little past the church).
Special Instructions: Wear your social work shirts, or any CCSU tee shirt (If you own one) so people know who we are.
